I’m Darys Avalos an entrepreneur, speaker, and author who turned life’s challenges into a purpose-driven journey. Through my work and my book The Unknown, I help others find strength, clarity, and hope in the midst of change.
My Story
I was born in Inglewood, California, and raised in a world of contrasts between cultures, challenges, and expectations. As a young woman, I learned the importance of independence, resilience, and faith.
For over 20 years, I worked as a Paralegal and Legal Document Assistant, helping families navigate complex legal processes with compassion and understanding. But behind every case I handled was a personal story of my own one of perseverance, healing, and transformation.
When I reached a breaking point in my life, I made a decision: to rebuild not just my business, but myself. That journey became The Unknown — a memoir that reveals how fear can turn into courage, and how uncertainty can become the birthplace of strength.
My story isn’t just about survival; it’s about self-discovery and the freedom that comes when we stop asking “why me?” and start asking “what can I learn from this?”
My Mission
As a Latina entrepreneur, my mission is to guide others through transitions: personal, emotional, or professional with empathy and strategy. Through my company, Avalos Professional Services, and my speaking engagements, I aim to empower others to rebuild their lives with structure, self-belief, and integrity.
Through The Unknown, I share my story so that others may see themselves in it not as victims of their circumstances, but as authors of their next chapter.
My Values
To inspire individuals especially women in our Latina community to reclaim their power, trust their process, and see possibility where others see limitations. I envision a world where women rise from their own unknowns with confidence and compassion, creating legacies built on faith, not fear.
